A number of years ago, one of the TextDrive Forum denizens, @ngungo, designed a website/app where one could organize one's bookmarks. This was in late 2008. As nearly as I can tell, due to the use of a no longer acceptable php command, the site now doesn't work. As a result, the site became no longer functional. I'm not sure that matters because, as nearly as I can tell from looking at the files on the server, no one has used the site in three or four years, with one possible exception, me.

I'm likely the last person to use the site. I stopped using it around 2024. My bookmarks were still good, but adding/changing them seemed no longer to work. Then, when I checked back in a few weeks ago, in preparation to moving away from Pair Networks, who had just jacked my costs up 700% (WTF?), the basic site itself seemed no loner to work, most likely the result of a deprecated command somewhere in the code.

The purpose of this current site is as a placeholder in case anyone actually does still want to use BookMarkR. That is to say, if you're still interested, you can pop me a line, and I'll see if I can get it back up and running. That may be tough because I no longer have contact with @ngungo, the master programmer. If I don't hear from anyone before November, 2026, everything will be delegated to the dustbin of history.
